Living historians will reenact the Albany portion of Henry Knox’s Noble Wagon Train from Ticonderoga to Boston at the dawn of the American Revolution , followed by dramatic tours inside the mansion.

The Noble Train’s Passage Through Albany
Join us for an immersive historical reenactment as the ceremonial linstock arrives at Schuyler Mansion in Albany. Through guided tours, witness Knox’s stay at the mansion, his impact on the household, and Philip Schuyler’s role as host and facilitator of the wagon train’s vital passage to Albany and over the Hudson River.

Greenwich, NY Replica sleds built by WSWHE BOCES students will be on display with replica artillery in the farm building.

As part of this year’s exhibits at the fair, replica sleds handcrafted by WSWHE BOCES students will be on display alongside replica artillery.

Preparing the Noble Train is a weekend of hands-on activities and demonstrations of woodworking, iron work, tacking and shoeing horses and building a replica sledge like those used by Knox’s troops.

Join us to learn about this major turning point of the Revolutionary War, led by costumed educators from Ft. Ticonderoga, with friendly well-trained oxen and a reproduction cannon.

The Bidwell House Museum will be leading a guided hike along a stretch of Knox’s journey through Monterey.

The Empire State Sons of the American Revolution will dedicate a bench for Knox.

Join the Old Saratoga Historical Association for a presentation by Patrick Niles marking the 250th anniversary of Henry Knox’s 1775 journey.

Join us for a special Knox program at Crown Point State Historic Site in partnership with War Cannon Spirits.

Ticonderoga 250th: A Revolutionary Celebration, a three-day series of events that combine festive holiday traditions with community pride and historical spirit.

This immersive, day-long program recreates the dramatic arrival of Henry Knox and the vital process of proofing and selecting cannon for the Continental Army.
