Henry Knox:
Resolve Forged by Revolution

Discover the extraordinary story of Henry Knox and the daring winter expedition that helped turn the tide of the American Revolution. Henry Knox: Resolve Forged by Revolution brings to life one of the most remarkable logistical feats in American history—the transport of the “Noble Train of Artillery” from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston in the winter of 1775–1776.

Created as part of the 250th commemoration of this historic journey, the film highlights Knox’s determination, leadership, and the collective spirit of the communities that made the impossible possible.

About the Film

In the winter of 1775–1776, the fight for American independence faced a critical challenge. The Continental Army surrounded Boston but lacked the artillery needed to force the British out.

A young bookseller turned patriot, Henry Knox proposed an ambitious solution: transport more than 60 tons of cannon from Fort Ticonderoga across nearly 300 miles of wilderness, rivers, and mountains—during one of the harshest winters in memory.

Against all odds, Knox and his team succeeded.

Henry Knox: Resolve Forged by Revolution tells the story of this incredible journey, the resilience required to complete it, and the lasting impact it had on the course of the American Revolution.
