Step back into Revolutionary War history with The Noble Train Arrives! In the harsh winter of 1775–76, Henry Knox led a remarkable expedition transporting 59 pieces of artillery from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston, passing through the towns of the Berkshires. This incredible feat of endurance and ingenuity became a defining moment in America’s struggle for independence and is remembered as one of the great turning points of the Revolution.

Event Details

At this event, costumed educators from Fort Ticonderoga will bring this story to life with demonstrations, engaging storytelling, and the help of friendly, well-trained oxen. Visitors will also see a reproduction cannon up close, offering a rare opportunity to connect with the sights and sounds of history. Perfect for families, history enthusiasts, and curious learners of all ages, this program highlights the resilience and determination that shaped the nation.
