Saratoga is rich in history and Darley Newman wants to share those stories.

Newman, a PBS host and travel expert, is in Saratoga County this week to film for her Emmy Award-nominated PBS and streaming series, “Travels with Darley,” as part of her new “Revolutionary Road Trips” episodes.

This is the first time they are filming for the new series on “untold stories related to the American Revolution” in New York State. The episode will shed light on Saratoga as a turning point in the American Revolution leading up to the 250th commemorations and cover local food options, history and attractions.

The Saratoga episode will debut in January 2024 on PBS and streaming, as well as through a live event and simulcast/livestream on Jan. 18, 2024 Smithsonian Associates.
