Congresswoman Stefanik & Congressman Tonko Introduce Bill to Rename Saratoga National Battlefield Park
In support of Saratoga County’s Board of Supervisors call for renaming the Saratoga National Historical Park to the Saratoga National Battlefield Park, congressional leaders introduced the “Strengthen America’s Turning Point Act” on July 3, 2024. Supporters believe the name more clearly reflects the historic significance of what the site commemorates and will appeal to the broad support for visitation to designated national battlefields.
