Travel back in time and enjoy a tavern-inspired meal with a cast of living historians portraying varied perspectives of coming conflict. Featuring traditional recipes and historic ambiance at Brookside Museum, partake in a delightful three course meal (menu below) accompanied by 18th-century guests and engage them as they discuss their lives and the events of the day.

Join us for an immersive evening of food, music, and storytelling in the historic Brookside Museum Long Room.

Co-produced by Saratoga County History Center and The Campaign for Saratoga 250, net proceeds will benefit our nonprofit efforts to preserve Saratoga’s heritage.

MENU: (gluten free options available)

First Course: Courtesy of Rock Hill Bakehouse, Bread and Butter or gluten free (GF) Sea Salt and Pepper Crackers, and Pickled Vegetables from Close Ties
Second Course: Beef and Vegetable Stew courtesy of  Chez Pierre or Green Split Pea Soup (Amy’s Organic, Vegan, GF, Low Sodium and Low Fat)
Third Course: Ginger Bread with Cream or GF Blackcurrant Tartelettes. Coffee & tea will be available.
Options for cider or water, plus one beer available per ticket, courtesy of Speckled Pig Brewing Co.

Step back in time and explore the fashion of the 18th century at “Sign of the Golden Scissors Workshop – Women’s Attire” a special public program and hands-on workshop led by Emily Stringham of At the Sign of the Golden Scissors.
Volunteers will assist with winter debris pickup, landscape preparation, and cleaning interpretive signage for the busy visitor season.
Immerse yourself in a full day of education and discovery featuring renowned authors and historians sharing insights into one of the most pivotal moments in American history at the Turning Point Symposium.
