Get ready to celebrate America’s 250th birthday across the Capital Region this Independence Day! From parades and fireworks to live music and family fun, communities throughout the area are marking the occasion with events spanning July 2nd through July 4th.
Here’s your guide to all the festivities happening near you.
Clifton Park
Saturday, July 4th
- 12:00 PM – 4th of July Parade, traveling from Shenendehowa Campus to Clifton Common
- 12:00 PM – Dusk – Family-friendly activities at Clifton Common, including carnival rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a craft fair
- 5:30 PM & 8:30 PM – Live Music
- 9:30 PM – Fireworks from Clifton Common (visible from many spots around town)
Corinth
Friday, July 3rd
- 4:00 PM – Kids Activities, Food Vendors & Music at the Beach
- 5:00 PM – Sandcastle Contest at the Beach
- 9:20 PM – Fireworks at dusk from the bridge
Saturday, July 4th
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Car Wash at the CCSD Bus Garage, benefiting Adirondack Center Stage
- 9:30 AM – Firecracker 5K Run/Walk at Pagenstecher Park
- 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Freedom Rock prize pick-up at Corinth Squad Building
- 1:00 PM – Parade begins at Palmer/Fifth St
Saratoga Springs
Saturday, July 4th
- 9:00 AM – Firecracker 4 Road Race
- 7:00 PM – Family-friendly concert with Soul Session on Ellsworth Jones Place, outside the City Center
- 7:00 PM – Block party concert with Jukebox Rebellion on Caroline Street
- 9:00 PM – Fireworks from the top of the City Center Parking Garage, visible throughout downtown
Waterford
Saturday, July 4th
- 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM – 4th of July Celebration at the Hurst Harbor Visitor Center

Halfmoon
Thursday, July 2nd
- 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM – “America Turns 250” Celebration at the Town of Halfmoon Complex, 2 Halfmoon Town Plaza.
Enjoy an evening of FREE family fun, including bounce houses, games and contests, a rock climbing wall, live music, fireworks, and complimentary food and drinks.
