With the upcoming 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution on the horizon, there has been renewed interest in locating and honoring our nation’s first veterans. Join Saratoga County Historian Lauren Roberts to learn about the Patriot Burial Historic Marker Program offered in partnership with the William G. Pomeroy Foundation and the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). She will also discuss the work being done in the county to commemorate the veterans and reveal a few fascinating stories of these Revolutionary War Patriots.

Please join us Thursday, November 14th from Noon to 1pm in the H. Dutcher Community Room,  Saratoga Springs Public Library, 49 Henry Street, Saratoga Springs, NY for this FREE event. No registration required

Honor Saratoga’s Revolutionary patriots and the heritage of their victory with the local Daughters & Sons of the American Revolution.

On behalf of the Town of Saratoga, the Village of Schuylerville, the Saratoga County 250th American Revolution Commission, and the Campaign for Saratoga 250, we are honored to host students and families of young children to participate in the annual Surrender Day Ceremony, marking the 249th anniversary of the American victory at the Battles of Saratoga.

Saratoga250 will have a presence at the Saratoga County Revolutionary Run for Veterans, a 5k run at Fort Hardy Park which benefits Saratoga County Veterans.

Celebrate America’s 250th Independence Day in true Saratoga style at the historic Saratoga Racetrack! Join Saratoga 250 on July 4th for a patriotic community gathering that honors our nation’s founding and the region’s pivotal role in American history. Enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with tradition, pride, and celebration at one of Saratoga’s most iconic landmarks. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime way to mark this milestone anniversary together.

Step back in time at the Freeman’s Farm Anniversary Encampment at Saratoga National Historical Park. Experience living history demonstrations, reenactors, and programs that bring the pivotal events of 1777 to life.
