Albany, NY to Lake George, NY (along US Route 9)

A procession of humvees, antique military transport vehicles, and motorcycles will escort the remains of 44 individuals who perished in 1776 at Lake George to their final resting place.

The public is welcome to observe the procession.

The Saratoga County 250th Commission is encouraging residents to line the streets and pay respect to the Repose of the Fallen Procession, returning the remains of 44 veterans of the Continental Army to their final resting place in Lake George Battlefield Park. On Wednesday May 20th, the military motorcade will travel through Saratoga County from south to north along Route 9, arriving in Clifton Park at approximately 10:30am. At approximately 11am the motorcade will make a brief, 5-minute stop in front of Saratoga Springs City Hall at the corner of Lake Ave. and Broadway where attendees can pay their respects to the veterans and view the vintage military transport vehicles.

10:15 AM — Latham, NY

10:30 AM — Clifton Park, NY

📍 Saratoga Springs Stop — 11:00 AM @ Broadway & Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY

The procession will pass through Saratoga Springs at approximately 11:00 AM. Come out to Broadway & Lake Avenue to pay your respects as the convoy makes its way north to Lake George.

11:30 AM — Glens Falls, NY

12:00 PM — Route End: Lake George Battlefield Park, 75 Fort George Rd, Lake George, NY
