Celebrate the season and Ticonderoga’s Revolutionary legacy with Ticonderoga 250th: A Revolutionary Celebration, a three-day series of events that combine festive holiday traditions with community pride and historical spirit. As part of the larger Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration, this weekend brings together shopping, entertainment, history, and family fun across the community.

Holiday Shopping & Dining Night, Parade of Lights, & Holiday Farmers Market
Kick off the celebration in Downtown Ticonderoga with extended shopping and dining hours, special promotions, and the beloved Parade of Lights. The Holiday Farmers Market offers local goods and seasonal treats, creating a festive atmosphere for families and visitors alike. Full details and schedule of events will be announced. (Expanded event as part of the 10-day Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration.)

Saturday, December 6
“4th of July in December” – Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park & Downtown Ticonderoga
Experience patriotic holiday cheer with a special “4th of July in December” event featuring a spirited Fifes & Drums Corps performance, cozy campfire gatherings, spectacular fireworks, and business promotions throughout the downtown area. This unique celebration brings Revolutionary energy to the holiday season in a way only Ticonderoga can. (Expanded event as part of the Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration.)

Sunday, December 7
Festival of Trees Open House & Reception – Hancock House (LARCH)
Close out the weekend at Hancock House, where the annual Festival of Trees fills the historic halls with holiday magic. Visitors are invited to enjoy beautifully decorated trees, festive displays, and a welcoming community reception. Additional details to be announced. (Part of the Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration.)

On behalf of the Town of Saratoga, the Village of Schuylerville, the Saratoga County 250th American Revolution Commission, and the Campaign for Saratoga 250, we are honored to host students and families of young children to participate in the annual Surrender Day Ceremony, marking the 249th anniversary of the American victory at the Battles of Saratoga.
