Saratoga 1777 campaign related topics will be covered at this. Notably by author Kevin Weddle of the “The Compleat Victory: Saratoga and the American Revolution.” Winner of the Gilder Lehrman Military History Prize, Winner of the Fraunces Tavern Museum Book Award & Winner of The Society of the Cincinnati Prize.
Iris De Rode will speak on unpublished private papers from French estate of François-Jean de Chastellux. Among them, the only first hand sketches of one of Saratoga’s battlefields from the era it occurred.
