This group of volunteer re-enactors isRevolutionary War reenactors standing around a cannon comprised of historians, educators, veterans and others seeking to honor the patriots of the Revolutionary War’s original regiment and educate the public. Also called Bauman’s Company, this group was authorized on October 28, 1775, in New York. The group was assigned to different locations throughout the war, but in 1777 Bauman’s Company was combined with 2 other regiments to create Col. Lamb’s Artillery Regiment. In August of 1779 four artillery regiments were numbered and Lamb’s regiment became the 2nd Continental. Program: The 2nd Continental will be camped on the Battlefield throughout the weekend and will be providing artillery demonstrations.
